Here are some poems by people who have nothing in common with me except their names.
The Cowardly Despot
by: Adeyemi Abimbola Shodipo
He defied the world
With a mighty and heavy sword
He blew aloud his horn
As though he had already won
He put others through the storm
Provoked a war he could not have won
But when death said t'was his turn
He discovered he had to run
And run he did with his gun
At a time the world thought he had gone
But when the torch exposed his gums
He showed the world he lacked guts
Oh! cowardly Saddam of the Gulf
Who put his people through an undue war
Now finds himself kept in the lock
By the very people he had fought

The Fading Shadow
forever once was gone
of the candid lies that spun
all the waiting proved you wrong
no more here tomorrow now it's here to stay
the web that once was tangled
has finally been undone

Distorted Soul
Broken Dreams left unanswered
Floating visions that drift in the sky
Moving emotions bundled up so tightly
Throbbing pain that makes you cryShattered hopes turned rightly facing forwardAching breaths that leaves you gasping
Pumping heartaches within your soul
Drowning sounds that have you clasping
Splintered wishes left desolate
Cracked feelings violently displaced
Shadowing your luminous expressions
Fleeting innocence that's been erased

Horrible Little You
Brawling little brat
So little do you know Screaming all the time
And farting nasty blows.
Stomping your big feet
When you don't get your way
Pissing on the floors And forcing me to play
Messing up your hair
Spilling ketchup on your dress
Breaking everything in sight
And making a horrible mess
Leaving dirty socks on my bed
Spitting when you talk
Telling all my secrets
And ripping things I bought
Writing on the walls
Sticking gum on your shoes
Putting glue on the floor
And sending my mind to the moon!

The Beast
Treacherous monster
Let me be
Leave me alone
I can't be seen
As wicked as you are
I still love thee
Even with your insults
You show pity

The Wrong Way
do what you do
say what you say
Yeah I'm listening
but not today
been there seen that
don't take on the word
It's just a speaking of truth
my world not yours
came for the nothing
half in I let Out
what eyes have seen
i never mouthed out so do what you do
and say what you say
no apologies should be comming
not ever nobodys way
